Submission of 1-2 Case(s)
During the afternoon sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to present their “nightmare” case or problem situation to the group and have them assist in coming up with the best defense strategy. We use this as a way to stimulate group discussion about how to prepare the case list and how to think like an examiner. In prior years, this has been one of the most popular portions of the course! Faculty will provide feedback at the end. If you already have your cases logged into the ABOG system, you can download and submit the cases you would like to utilize from there. If you prefer not to submit them this way, you can also utilize the templates linked below. Please type in the information directly from your case list into the template (Download templates below)
- Pelvic Organ Prolapse; Anorectal Disorders; Special Considerations
- Urinary Incontinence: Frequency, Urgency, and Nocturia; UTI and Hematuria
- Neurogenic Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction and Urinary Retention/Incomplete Emptying; Bladder and Myofacial Pelvic Pain; UTI; Vaginal, Urethral and Periurethral Pain
Be sure to include your name and then email your case directly to Kelly Friesen at kelly@americasboardreview.com.
Peer Review Network - Course Roster
ABC values and promotes networking among colleagues, as no one understands your experiences better than your peers. We would like to invite you to join our Peer Review Network for the review course. The roster will include the name and email of each attendee. If you do not wish to be included, please contact Melissa Krauss by December 1st.
Thesis Review with Dr. Modest - Link
Candidates will have the opportunity to consult with our highly experienced epidemiologist and biostatistician, Dr. Anna Modest, on how best to prepare you for defending your thesis. Dr. Modest will review your thesis prior to your 1/2 hr session during or after the course. Contact Melissa Krauss at melissask@americasboardreview.com.
After the course...

Approximately 1-2 weeks after the review course, you will receive an email from MAHEC (Mountain Area Health Education Center). For your reference, information on obtaining CME hrs is located here.
If after 4 weeks, you do not receive the email from MAHEC or if you have any questions about CME, please contact Kelly Friesen, ABC's CME Coordinator at kelly@americasboardreview.com.
