Faculty - Robert Higgins, MD, FACOG
Dr. Higgins graduated with a BS from the University of North Carolina, followed by his medical degree from East Carolina School of Medicine. He then completed his OB/GYN residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. He further pursued a fellowship in Gynecology Oncology at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Higgins is double boarded in OB/GYN and Gynecology Oncology. Dr. Higgins has dedicated much of his career in academia. While at Carolinas Medical Center, Dr. Higgins served as Residency Program Director, Department of OB/GYN, Director of Gynecologic Oncology and Senior Academic Chair to name a few. Currently, he is a professor at the Department Ob/Gyn Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.
ABC is pleased that Dr. Higgins has joined the ABC faculty team. He looks forward to helping oral exam candidates prepare for their certifying boards.
