Faculty - Rachel Blair Danis, MD, MS
Rachel Blair Danis, MD, MS, is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Specialist with extensive expertise in fertility preservation, assisted reproductive technologies, and reproductive health. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she continues her practice at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York. Dr. Danis completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, where she also earned her Master of Science in Clinical, Biomedical, and Translational Investigations. Throughout her career, she has contributed significantly to advancing fertility treatments, publishing multiple peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals such as “Fertility & Sterility”, “Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics”, and “Current Urology Reports”.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Danis is a dedicated educator and researcher, frequently presenting her findings at national conferences, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Scientific Congress & Expo. Dr. Danis works closely with the medical students, OBGYN residents, and REI fellows at Mount Sinai Hospitals in NYC, often educating during her private practice hours, providing lectures, and covering the residents' and fellows' hospital-based REI clinics. She has also participated in numerous community outreach initiatives, providing education on reproductive health, infertility, and family-building options to diverse audiences. Fluent in Spanish and with a background in competitive figure skating, Dr. Danis brings both passion and precision to her work, continuously striving to improve reproductive care and patient outcomes.
