Dr. Ikhena-Abel earned her medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine in Worcester, MA. Her advanced training continued with a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Northwestern University. Dr. Ikhena-Abel regards it as a privilege to assist patients in their journey to expand their families.
Specializing in a wide range of women's health conditions, Dr. Ikhena-Abel focuses on areas such as infertility, fertility preservation, polycystic ovarian syndrome, uterine fibroids, recurrent pregnancy loss, and irregular or absent periods. Her expertise extends beyond clinical practice, as she serves as a reviewer for esteemed publications like Fertility and Sterility and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics. Additionally, she plays a vital role as an abstract reviewer for the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, contributing to the advancement of reproductive science and patient care.
