15th - Deadline to submit FPMRS & MFM thesis manuscripts for review by Dr. Adelowo and Dr. Martin.

16th - AOBOG late application deadline for 2019 Primary Written exam

17th - ABOG Subspecialty Qualify exam application available online

17th - ABC Oral exam workshop

18th - 22th - ABC Review Course, Charlotte, NC

20th 21st- AOBOG Primary Oral & Subspecialty Oral exams

23rd - 28th - AOBOG fall OCC exam

Faculty Feature

Melisa Holmes, MD

Dr. Holmes is a very accomplished board certified OB/GYN. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in Arts. With a desire for medicine, she went on to complete medical school at the Medical School of Georgia and her residency at Virginia Commonwealth. She held joint appointments at the Medical University of South Carolina in OB/GYN and Pediatrics.

Dr. Holmes has received numerous awards in teaching, she received a national award by ACOG for patient education, was also named among the Best Doctors in America.

In 2003, she co-founded Girlology with a Pediatrician colleague. Girl-ology and now Guy-ology has become a national and international phenomenon, educating and empowering youth and their parents.
