"Helped this overwhelming task seem not so daunting" - CB April 2011 "I am SOOOOOO glad I decided to come to your Case List Construction workshop. It was OUTSTANDING! I really feel empowered to take on the oral boards experience again and be successful. After seeing examples, working through some of the cases as a group, and hearing your advice and reasoning, I can clearly see where I had shortcomings in my case list in prior years and I now no longer fear repeating the same mistakes. I just can't tell you how this one day has tremendously boosted my confidence and motivated me." - JM April 2011 "(San Jose Workshop) Miki Takase-Sanchez is an amazing presenter. She is smart and energetic and thorough. I walked out of there thinking, 'I can do this.'" - DJ May 2011 "Like many, I thought it was mandatory to use the ABOG software. You easily convinced me that a custom case list was better. However I was shocked with how easy and quickly I could pull it off. Debbie was a huge help with technical support. I am thrilled with the night and day difference. My case list is sooo much easier now to edit. I'm coasting and it's only May; yawn - plenty of time until Aug 1." -- MT, 2008 "The Chicago workshop was fabulous and so informative. I have all of my cases entered thus far, so Dr. Polite was able to guide me on how to make it flow. This workshop was invaluable!!! I can't wait until the review course in September. I hope all your faculty are this awesome!" - PL 5/09 "I have a much clearer picture of how a case list should be organized." - 4/08 "Presenting our nightmare cases to the group was most helpful, I think we left no stones unturned" -- Sep 08 "I think one of the most important parts of the course was the personalized attention that I got from Dr. Das and her colleagues. I wasn't just another workshop participant - I really felt like they cared about my success. Also, the case list workshop is a must! I felt like I understood how to structure the list prior to attending, but I can see how much better it will be once I use the tips and tricks learned at the workshop. Thanks!" -- CP May 2010 "Dr. Polite was exceptional, outstanding, helpful, thorough, attentive...I cannot list all the adjectives to describe her. I am so glad I went to the workshop. I have been constructing my cases on paper and her suggestions were invaluable." -- PS May 2010 "I flew from the west coast, but was stranded in the Dallas airport. I didn't arrive to Atlanta until 3 hours after the workshop had started. Dr. Griffin stepped out and personally oriented me to help me jump in with the group. Although I was grateful for his individual attention, I couldn't believe that Dr. Das stayed an additional two hours after the workshop ended, just to go back over the material I missed. I knew she had a four hour drive home, but her only priority seemed to be me. Never before, have I ever received such individualized attention at a course." -- EM May 2010 "I was so inspired by the workshop, that evening I got right to work. I have limited computer abilities, but you were right, it was easy to create a custom list. I followed Dr. Keever's instructions step-by-step and viola' I was ready to enter cases. I initially used a commercial software, but my custom list is head and shoulders superior. I incorporated my new tips and can't believe how fast and easy it was to reenter my cases. Do you think ABOG will mind if I turn my case list in early?" -- SS June 2010 "The Case List Construction Workshop was very helpful for preparing my case list (I'm a 3rd timer). I now see many of the mistakes I made before." - 4/08 | |||
