Faculty - Sonali Raman, MD, FACOG

Dr. Raman choose an accelerated 6-year BS/MD starting at Kent State for her undergrad and her MD from Northeastern Ohio Medical University.  She then completed her residency at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  After residency she then headed to Rhode Island for her Female Pelvic Medicine (FPM) fellowship at Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University. During her residency & fellowship, Dr. Raman numerous awards which included the AAGL Outstanding Laparoscopic Surgeon Resident Award and the Gold Humanism Honor Society Award.   Not surprisingly, she has published extensively and was named Top Doc in Cincinnati for 2 years in a row. She is an active researcher in the SGS sponsored Collaborative Research In Pelvic Surgery Consortium (CoRPS) and takes the lead in many hospital and clinical quality initiatives.  Dr. Raman enjoys her free time practicing yoga, biking with her husband and having fun with her young daughter and son.
ABC welcomes Dr. Raman to the FPMRS faculty team where she will provide mock orals & thesis reviews for candidates preparing for their certifying exam.
