Jennifer Duroy, DO, FACOOG

Dr. Jennifer Duroy is a native Oklahoman that is a first generation physician who earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine where she earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine. During her undergraduate and medical school eduction she found a passion for teaching. During the last two years of undergrad she was a chemistry tutor and she continued teaching in medical school as an anatomy tutor. She went on to complete her internship and residency at SSM Health St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was co-chief resident during her fourth year of residency at SSM Health.
Dr. Duroy found her passion for obstetrics and gynecology during her third year of medical school while participating in the rural medical track. During this time she was able to see the deep connection that is made between a physician and her patients. Being able to care for women from early adolescents, childbearing years, and menopause showed her the importance of the trust that a physician-patient relationship has during a women’s life.
She has participated in many international medical mission trips during her training and while being in practice. This has included trips to Honduras, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Dr. Duroy truly believes in giving back to the community and how importance community involvement is in the career of a physician. She was the medical director of the Arkansas Pregnancy Resource Center in Little Rock, Arkansas from 2020-2022.
After residency Dr. Duroy started practice in general obstetrics and gynecology in North Little Rock Arkansas. She has also worked as an OB hospitalist during her time in Arkansas. During this time she was adjunct faculty for Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also participated in the GME program at Baptist North Little Rock as an attending physician for the family medicine and internal medicine programs. Dr. Duroy enjoys the outdoors with her husband and three Labrador retrievers. They have spent the last ten years exploring the world domestically and internationally.
