Faculty - Mitch Dizon, MD, MSCR, FACOG
Dr. Mitch Dizon attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and received his BS in 2006 and his MD in 2010. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, TN, in 2014. Dr. Dizon went to the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill (UNC) in July 2014 for the Training in Epidemiology and Clinical Trials (TECT) fellowship, during which he completed a Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and provided general obstetrics & gynecology services through the Division of Women’s Primary Healthcare. He stayed at UNC for his fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, which he completed in June 2018.
Dr. Dizon serves as Assistant Professor and Program Director, at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, he is Associate Program Director in the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Erlanger Health System.
