Faculty - Jason Lachance, MD FACOG
Jason Lachance, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist at Maine Health Gynecologic Cancer Care in Scarborough, Maine, and serves as the Residency Program Director and Division Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Maine Medical Center. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Lachance specializes in gynecologic cancer care, minimally invasive and advanced surgical techniques, and clinical research focused on improving patient outcomes.
He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington, and pursued a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Virginia, where he also received a Master’s in Clinical Investigative Sciences.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and an active member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, Dr. Lachance is widely recognized for his excellence in teaching, leadership in residency education, and dedication to quality improvement in women's health care.
