Dr. Kanaan obtained a BS in Biochemistry from Kennesaw State University. He then obtained his DO from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his OB/GYN residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. He was recognized as teaching resident of the year for three consecutive years. He is board certified in OB/GYN and a fellow of the ACOOG.  He is Assistant Professor at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. He was recognized as Physician of the year by employee choice in 2015.  He is anxious to marry his experience with the oral exam process with his love of teaching by joining the ABC faculty for the Oral Exam Webinar.
