Dr. Faksh graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Biochemistry and a minor in Education from Bowdoin College.  She then went to medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She completed her OB/GYN residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. While at MMC she served as an instructor teaching Surgical Dry Skills Lab for third-year medical students.  Afterward, she moved to Minnesota to start her MFM fellowship at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.  She is board certified in OB/GYN and MFM and is the recipient of multiple awards for teaching, clinical excellence, and research.  Dr. Faksh brings her expertise to ABC conducting MFM mock orals for MFMs and generalists along with lecturing for our Oral Exam Webinar.  In her free time, she enjoys ethnic cuisine, hiking, ceramics, community service, boating, and gardening.
